Location Location, location. I have focused on Southern California as a venue, mostly because it's easier to deliver and install my work close to my studio. and because it's where my "buzz" is. I'm not opposed to becoming a nationwide distributor, but patronage from elsewhere will have to include consideration for travel on all work in excess of three feet or Many of the wall-hanging sculptures have been displayed in outdoor locations for up to five years without any damage from the elements, however, we're talking mild climate here. Indoors would be better where the snow flies, or where torrential rains are common. Another option for severe weather locations would be to attach the work directly to the wall and grout it in just as ceramic tile would be installed. The art itself, once it's in place, is quite substantial, and impervious to moisture, but the wood panels I used for ease of hanging and portability have the same problems as wooden boats, and would have to be maintained. Let's just say that the outdoors is doable, but indoors is so much more trouble free, at least with the panel-mounted pieces. There are exceptions, and I would welcome any inquiry, and do my best to accommodate your specific needs.
